Kyo's Real Problem
By Moekii, 2006

"Hey, it's no big deal. If you get questioned, say you never found the stash...i mean uh...me, and just wait it out." Kyo was getting shaky, not only did he need his fix, he needed to make sure his clients got theirs.

"That's not quite it." Jet replied, giving Kyo a knowing but disguised look. They had to keep it low key while Grey was in the room. They knew Chovek knew, they also knew Chovek didnt like it, but Chovek didnt know that they knew what he knows. Later on, Kyo and Jet would make sure that he never lets anyone else know what they knew Chovek knows.

"Then this isn't quite the time I wanna talk about it, okay?" Kyo grabs Jet's shoulder and depesses two fingers, just two. that was code for "take no prisoners". Jet really liked that code. "Just hit the store for me?"

Jet looked sullen, trying to supress his glee. they were finally hitting the Store. The biggest stash of drugs in the city. Guarded by the humans who brought it into the planet and distributed by homeless people they payed or threatened. Jet had always wanted to cordially invite them to partake in his eight course meal of whoop'ass.

Grey was off to the side giving Kyo the look. They were well accustomed to that look. It was what they wanted. The entire "Hi! Just an achoholic, nothing to see here" business lived only for that look.

Jet took off for the liquor store, and went right past it, through the next alley way, and into the garage there. He opened a locker and quickly changed clothes. The ones he had on previously just would not do at all, not nearly enough pockets.

Pockets for what? Jet unlatched a latch that was seemingly latched to itself on the wall, then lifted up the wall and set it down to the side. Behind the wall section was an assortment of firearms and other weaponry. He filled the numerous holsters and pockets of his black flowing trench coat and put a knife in his combat boots. he put a few grenades on his black leather belt then decided he was sufficiently armed. His cell phone rang.

"Do you have the booze yet, man?" it was Kyo.
"Yea, yea, im on my way back now. I have to make a stop on the way" Jet replied.
"What? come on man, i cant wait all day" this was a coded line. Kyo was giving Jet some last minute information.
"Yes, yes you can" that was Jet's code for understanding. he got the information. Jet disconnected the call.

Once he was ready to move out he got on his motorcycle given to him by his good friend CS. Jet liked this bike, it had the uncanny tendancy to perform amazing stunts without ever falling over or even losing speed. It also held an assortment of swords in collapsable compartments on the sides.

The information Kyo gave Jet was the new location of the Store. It was, in fact, behind the liquor store dumpster. Or at least the entrance was. So Jet would literally have to hit the liquor store, he would enjoy this.

When the garage door was opened Jet tore out and went around the building. Jet didnt need the bike for travelling really, what he really liked using it for was running into things with it.

The goons that usually hang out at the liquor store were all under the Human's control. so Jet would have to take them out. He initiated contact by running the bike through the big window. When it cleared the window Jet jumped off and let it obliterate several racks of booze. He had to remember to save some so he could take them back to Kyo, it would be a little suspicious if he didnt.

To save ammo for the inevitable fire fight in the underground stash, Jet broke out the electrified copper knuckles and went to town. The first goon that came to his senses produced a baseball bat and went for Jet. Jet dodged the straight down swing and kicked the bat out of the goon's hands. Now disarmed the goon backed up a little, then his courage was reinforced when he saw his buddies come to. there were about 5 of them.

Before they could formulate a plan, or even decide to attack him on their own, Jet rushed them. He aimed a flying kick at the center of their mass and the closest goon dodged it, effectively surounding Jet. From his landing stance Jet back kicked whoever was behind him and punched whoever was in front of him in the stomach. this caused them both to double over from the stomach hits. The goon on Jet's right tried for punching Jet. Jet just grabbed his arm and flipped him over into the goon on his left. the first two Jet afflicted goons were on the rise again and Jet took care of them with a face kick and a clean contact punch to the other one's face, leaving a nice burn mark. there was one goon left standing and it looked like he was having second thoughts. No such luck for him, Jet was instructed to "take no prisoners" so he made short work of him.

*cla-chich* The store clerk had pulled out a shotgun and was ready to fire. Jet was facing away from him but he knew when he'd fire anyway. As the shot came Jet ducked all the way down and flung his right arm out. From the folds of his coat came a Desert Eagle into his hand. Jet planted his left hand to propell him into a sideways flip in order to dodge the next shotgun round, then fired his Deagle as he landed. The clerk fell over, dead.

Jet's cellphone rang agian.

"man, i want my booze" Kyo, again.
"im busy" Jet's reply, less guarded than usual
"come on, we're getting impatient." the "we're" implied that the others could be suspecting something. Which meant that Jet had to call it a day and bring back the booze.

a shame.
